While walking down Valencia street, there are just some stores or places that everyone agrees to stop over to and this was one of them! 🙂Â
Chocolate! Chocolate! Â Everything Chocolate!
On both side walls were chocolate merchandise being sold
In the middle is the counter and behind the counter was where they were making the chocolate
You can taste the chocolates!!
 
After looking and looking, we just could not help it- we had to try it! So this was snack # 2 for the day
Frozen Hot chocolate! and no it does not taste like Serendipity’s Frozen hot chocolate 🙂  It’s a more sophisticated version Â
House hot chocolate which we all sipped from this little cup 🙂

 I am so happy to see my boys bonding!  I feel so out of place because I am the only lady in the family and they like doing different things, but I love hanging out with them even if they always tease me because they do not understand that men are from mars and women are from venus haha!!  But I love them so I just go to where they go so I can be with them
After our snack at Hog & Rocks, Jaime directed us to Valencia street in the mission district. Â He wanted to go to a place or area that resembled Soho and this was the closest which he researched on
We walked down the street and saw many interesting frontages of shops and restosÂ
Jaime said he tried this in the airport and that it is better than In N Out 🙂Â

Apparently today was supposed to be a day of eating!  Jaime really took advantage and he chose places to try!  So after our dim sum lunch we went to Hog and Rocks for oysters!
So happy to be reunited as a whole family with my two boys together!  These two boys eat or two persons though so you can imagine the eating that we do when we are together 🙂
Jaime chose this place for the rocks so that’s what they ordered
Here it is!  And according to the boys – DELICIOUS! 🙂 Â
Very satisfied with his choice of resto- for someone who lives in Concord, this guy claims he is a GOURMET 🙂  Though I do believe he has very high standards and knows his food very well

After lunch we drove around the city towards the mission district and I noticed a lot of graffiti on the walls and steel roll ups doors

Jaime wanted so much to go to the city so he took charge of planning our Sunday.  He planned everything from lunch to dinner and made reservations for us.  First stop was lunch at Yank Sing.  He wanted dim sum which was good timing for Sunday though we came already at around 1pm.  Jaime searched for the best dim sum in San Francisco and this came out 🙂
On Sunday’s, they use the lobby of the building since the restaurant gets really full

This is what the ramen boys came here for – they are not only ramen boys but they are Xiao Long Bao boys too! 🙂  They would always search for the best ramen and xiao long bao wherever we are in the world
So today the goal was to try the Kurobota pork dumplings and it passed their standards!  🙂  They ordered 4 of this! Â
Although the Xiao Long Bao boy # 1 ( papa ) prefers his Xiao long bao with crab fat or crab meatÂ
We all enjoyed our dim sum dishes
I am always different from the boys, so this was mine – really really good prawn salad and loved the honeyed walnuts that came with it
They have another location right beside the restaurant just for take out!Â
