Again I wish I had my SLR and zoom lens to capture the many sights in India! Here is a compilation of vendors I saw during our trip. We did not get to try any food vendors on the street because we were warned to be careful

Me and my sister were dying to do more bazaar shopping to find more bargains 🙂 so we went to the Clock Tower and Sardar market
We had to take a tuktuk because the bus was not allowed to go in
Since it was a holiday, only a few stores were open. It was a good thing this spice store was open! Wow, all kinds of spices and teas!

A beautiful resort in the desert! Definitely a place to relax and have a peaceful stay
Delicious Indian lunch except for Mom’s Spaghetti bolognese which she requested 🙂
We can never get enough of this! YUM!
Gulab Jamun! Everyone is happy again! Raj suggested we have it with vanilla ice cream! So from here one, we always looked for Vanilla ice cream to go with our Gulab Jamun 🙂
The owner of the resort came out to greet us and tell us about his place. He told us that his wife is the one who did the interiors of the place
He escorted us out and told us that Madonna with Guy Richie and family stayed in that camp nearby and he had the priveledge of hosting her while she was there

Meet Adam 🙂
Meet Adam’s SERIOUSLY GOOD Ice cream!! 🙂
I am serious, it is seriously good ice cream! I tried 9 flavors out of all these special and unique flavors! It was my first time to have blue cheese ice cream ( Figgy Blue! ) Chocolate flame was really so good till the chili taste kicked in, a bit spicy for me but for those that like spicy you will probably like this flavor.
Wasabi was so so wasabi 🙂 All Adam’s flavors are very unique, the only one that is common is the Himalayan Salted Caramel, but that was good too! Green Tea Kitkat for the Green Tea KitKat lovers out there! YUM! Katie’s brew which has beer
Was hoping to try Baklava! Will try this one day.
Strawberry Buko
Dulcinea de Manila
The Ambassador’s Butter Cream – made especially for American Ambassador Harry Thomas. This was so so good!

Another interesting tour visit!! We took a jeep and crossed through the desert
We drove quite far
To visit the Bishnoi Village- here are the kids coming to greet us as we arrive. I have heard many comments about Indian people and Indian culture, numerous of them negative. However, do we realize that these people could actually live in a certain way yet they are happy and contented? If someone chooses to live a certain way, shouldn’t we respect it? I was truly humbled to see how the Bishnoi’s live. They lived so so far from “civilization”. There is nothing nearby to entertain or amuse them- no shopping mall, no TV, no phone,, no computer, no iPhone – and I am thinking – will I survive without all these? Yet these people were happy just playing with each other and living in a simple home.
