Someone who knows a considerable amount on gift giving and the etiquette thereof is the petite, forthcoming and classy Gemma Guerrero. She brings a combination of sophistication, style and smarts to 3DMe, the business that she manages with her British husband and a dedicated team of Filipinos. In a nutshell, 3DMe is the only worldwide company that possesses the technology to convert any picture into a 3D image on the spot. The company has offices in Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, UAE, the United Kingdom, the United States and Canada. With her devoted team of countrymen, including her manufacturing partners from Hong Kong, 3DMe Manila has already started to make an impact with its growing list of offerings. The company is comprised of people who are highly experienced in 3D software and lenticular technology, R&D, product tooling and testing, in-depth management, business development, and global marketing. The end result? A lovely and creative photo that makes the perfect, touching, inspired and personalized gift.

The end result? A lovely and creative photo that makes the perfect, touching, inspired and personalized gift.
3DMe has several accessories in which to house that 3D image, making the act of gift-giving incredibly simple. For that mother who is endlessly devoted to her family, a keychain with a 3D image of her loved ones is something that she can bring with her as she goes about her busy day, a lovely reminder of the people that inspire her most.
For that jet-setter whose time is spent at luggage carousels, a luggage tag attached to their check-in valise with a 3D image of themselves at their favorite monument, landmark or Wonder of the World will make that airport sojourn seem so much shorter.

For that independent young woman of the world, who has recently bought herself her own condominium – a lovely photo frame encasing a 3D image of her with her best friends at the beach will sit on top of her coffee table next to her favorite home accessories, proudly showing off her fun personality. The gift is innovative, personalized, and shows the recipient that the giver really does care – care enough to offer something fun, different and incredibly stylish.
Gemma adds, “In this digital age, people love to personalize content. Why not in 3D?” After all, we are all social networking fiends – we tag on Facebook, we tweet about our busy days, we post on YouTube, we sell our stuff on Multiply. The world has become our digital oyster, and very soon the trend will be posting content in 3D for that extra kick. 3DMe can even take instant photographs of people, and send these straight to their Facebook accounts for instantaneous, real-time coverage in technologically advanced formats.
What makes Gemma particularly proud of 3DMe is that talent behind it. The combination of cutting-edge photo technology and Filipino talent “work behind the scenes to make 3DMe an international brand!” she exclaims with nationalistic pride. It is, after all, worthy to note that Filipinos are some of the most passionate and creative people worldwide – and now, thanks to 3DMe and Gemma’s efforts, those Filipinos will get the accolades that they deserve for the brilliant brain power and characteristically passionate Pinoy work ethic that they put into their jobs, day after day. In spite of 3DMe being an international brand with presence in Asia, the UAE, Europe and North America, it has Filipino roots, is Filipino run, and is Filipino supported!
There is no doubt that receiving photos, especially ones as technologically advanced as 3D-rendered ones, is always a pleasure. The best part about 3DMe is that you don’t have to brave crowded parking lots, stand in line at cashier registers, and you’re assured that the recipient will fully appreciate such a thoughtful gift!

My friend Chary gets me into the most unusual and unique things ever! and I LOVE IT! 🙂 After our visit to the Makati City Jail,
Previous entry: Visit to the Makati City Jail November 8, 2011
She invited me to a wedding where she was the coordinator 🙂 She asked me to meet her at the MAKE UP ROOM ( using one of the offices in Don Bosco church ). They have been here since 7am and I arrived at 830am
where all the brides are being groomed for their special day 🙂
Couldn’t find Chary at first and bumped into her husband Lito. This is actually the event of Lito together with his Rotary Makati West Group and good wife Chary enhanced and made it better by offering her services together with her Happy2Help group
And here is Chary! With her friend Acie Romero, helping out with the make up for the brides
Mia Nolasco- Gonzales from Luxasia brings her team to help out as well!

And Pauli Genuino who I have not seen in so long!!! Pauli is now an instructor at John Robert Powers. I heard she even gave tips on posture for the brides! 🙂
She brought her classmates from CAS ( Center for Aesthetic Studies ) to help with the make up
Previous entry: Beauty 101 April 29, 2008
Picture taking with family already happens in this room 🙂

After that, I went to the reception area where they were setting up the tables and chairs and here is Chary again decorating the area
Chary’s friends, Noel Tordesillas and Vivienne Hugo, who are engaged and about to be married, donated the wedding cake
Other members of Happy2Help – Wendee Soliven, Tina Norton and her daugther and Vivienne
Then I rushed to the church as the wedding ceremony was about to start. Here is the Rotary group who sponsored this wedding! Thanks to them, couples are formally married in church with the blessings of God. There are many out there who are not married in church because of financial reasons. However, they made it possible today for 38 couples to be married. Lito told me they wanted to wed 42 couples in honor of their 42nd anniversary but they were not able to gather enough and some couples did not qualify for the church requirements. They have been doing this for 18 years already! They provide the gowns and barongs, the reception and church fees.
All the couples waiting in line to march down the aisle 🙂
Even the flower girls and ring bearers are in line 🙂
Ceremonies being held at the Don Bosco church take note with aircondition! 🙂
Just the 38 couples fill up already a big part of the church 🙂 Each couple is allowed to invite 4 guests each
I could not stay the whole ceremony so I left and checked out the reception area and here it is, ready for the newlyweds to celebrate. This is just nearby the church, so they just have to walk a few steps 🙂
Thanks to Lito for some photos which I grabbed. They even had a photo booth:-)
and the romantic cutting of cake and toast!

I used to think that I am SUPERWOMAN or BATGIRL and that I am invincible and super powerful that I can do anything and nothing will happen to me! I forget that I am already midlife at 41 years old and that there are things that i used to do that I cannot probably do as well anymore at this age!
Sunday morning, I was in bed and feeling different and found myself breathing harder than usual. I got scared and immediately asked my husband to take me to the hospital.
I guess I was okay because I actually thought of using James’ iPhone to take photos! 🙂
So happy that the Emergency Room now in Makati Medical is renovated! I remember coming here a few times with other people in the past.
But for me, no matter how nice the ER is, I don’t know if it will ever be a happy place for me. For the first time I checked myself in the Emergency Room! It’s a big deal maybe even if I overreacted 🙂 So many thoughts came into my mind – was I ready to go? Am I prepared? What about my kids? How do poor people handle health issues when they have no money to pay for it? What about all the things I was supposed to do that I have not done?
Here is the patient doctor that took care of me and not to mention had to take care of my husband who had so many questions. The doctor told him to wait in the chair 🙂
I was diagnosed with Acid Reflux or heartburn. No one has ever told me before what not to eat!!!
I am thankful for a gentle warning and will take this as a reminder for me to start a healthy lifestyle. After all, Life Begins at 40!

My motto now is ” Don’t overdo it!” This goes with everything – eating, working, etc etc.
As my father in law, Dr. de Jesus, always says, ” I wish for you good health.” He always tells us that we should take care of our health and that he always prays for our good health
For me, any sign or any unusual condition should be attended to. I knew it was probably not serious but I wanted to be sure.
Invest in health insurance for you and your family so you don’t need to think twice whether to see a doctor or have yourself examined and treated!
Other learnings:
We all have our time in HIS TIME!

Learn to have more faith in God and trust that everything is in HIS hands! I should not be scared! But I should be PREPARED!

Hello dear friends!
It’s that time of the year again and we’d like to show you what Kidsmile Foundation is offering as its holiday fund raiser this year.
We have a set of 3 large burgundy color eco- bags, nicely packaged in a white & red gift bag with an attached To & From tag, ready for giving at only P195.
The set of 5 large burgundy eco-bags packaged in the same white & red gift bag is P295.
The burgundy eco bags measure 13″ x 16″ x 8″ while the white & red gift bag measures 7″ x 8″ x 3.5″.
The proceeds from last year’s holiday fund raiser allowed Kidsmile Foundation to continue funding the daycare class for toddlers at The Haven center in Alabang for another year. We are on our third year of sponsorship.
The class is taught by a qualified pre-school teacher with proper educational materials. The kids learn their ABC’s, colors and numbers, just like at any other nursery. They love their class and their bright and happy classroom. Field trips to Museo Pambata and the Manila Ocean Park were special events that were the highlights of their year.

Here are the Kidsmile Foundation holiday photo cards for this year.
The cards come in 4 colors: red, green, blue & brown and have corner slits to accommodate a 4″ x 6″ photo of either vertical or horizontal lay out.
The inside message reads “Happy Tidings * Good Cheer”
A pack of 8 cards and envelopes is P350.
Packed either in single or assorted colors.
Here is the kidsmile foundation sticker sheet design for this year. As always there are 20 sticker tags per sheet. (sheet is A4 size)
and we still have the red envelopes discounted now at only P10 should you want to package them as gifts.
the stickers are 3 sheets for P100 or P35@.
