Heart2Heart LOVES KESO!!!

At Mothers Club, Gaita introduced Gourmet Keso to us and mentioned that she read about it in Market Man’s blog

Gourmet Keso July 28, 2011

For Heart2Heart, it’s always best to patronize our local producers/products.

Roadtrip to Porac Pampanga

By | Travel, Velada 2012 | One Comment

We went on a road trip to Pampanga!! Love road trips because it is bonding time again 🙂

Road Trips August 9, 2010

My bestfriend, Eds, planned the trip as she is part of the ” FOR THE BENEFIT OF ” committee for our Velada together with Lala.  So the three of us went starting out early at 7am.  Lots of stories and eating! Super fun!

img_7396.JPG

Road trips are fun because it is also snacking time 🙂

I brought my cheese snacks

roadtrip-to-porac-01.jpg

and my favorite Minstrels

roadtrip-to-porac-03.jpg

Lala brought doughnuts from KFC

roadtrip-to-porac-02.jpg

And Eds brought healthy snacks – skyflakes, tuna and apple – which no one ate! haha!!

roadtrip-to-porac-04.jpg

We took around an hour and a half to get to where we were going

roadtrip-to-porac-05.jpg

And oh my gosh! I just had to take this!!

roadtrip-to-porac-06.jpg

Obviously, we did not go there 🙂  we took the other fork on the left side

roadtrip-to-porac-07.jpg

On the way back, Eds made sure we passed by here!!  We did not pass the SCTEX so we took the normal Pampanga route and this is on the left side of the bridge on the way to Pampanga so we passed by on the way home so we would be on the right side of the street. It is the side where there is a Jollibee and Mc Donalds

roadtrip-to-porac-08.jpg

They are known for their Buko Pandan salad!!

roadtrip-to-porac-09.jpg

It comes frozen

roadtrip-to-porac-010.jpgroadtrip-to-porac-011.jpg

and you can buy it like ice cream where it comes in gallons.  I took home 4 cups for the family to try and it was wiped out!!! Really yummy!!

roadtrip-to-porac-025.jpg

They also have juice but I did not get to try this

roadtrip-to-porac-020.jpg

Another bestseller is the siomai -people were buying it one after the other – i think more for the price than the taste.  It was okay tasting.  They sold it in 10’s ( P 70 ) , 20’s ( P 130 ), 30’s ( P 195.)  50’s ( P 325 )

roadtrip-to-porac-024.jpg

They had so many many other Filipino snacks!!!

roadtrip-to-porac-012.jpgroadtrip-to-porac-013.jpgroadtrip-to-porac-014.jpgroadtrip-to-porac-015.jpgroadtrip-to-porac-016.jpgroadtrip-to-porac-017.jpgroadtrip-to-porac-018.jpgroadtrip-to-porac-019.jpgroadtrip-to-porac-022.jpg

roadtrip-to-porac-026.jpg

Plenty pasalubong stuff

roadtrip-to-porac-023.jpg

They also have a dining area
