Spiral

Luzanne and Des chose our lunch venue and we super enjoyed it! I was overwhelmed! This has been ongoing for some time already but this is my first time

We almost did not make it, but then I was so happy it pushed through even though it was quite far. So happy to be with the girls again! We are so adventurous now and I love it!!

MY FAVORITE STATION!!!! FOIE GRAS STATION!!!! I think this is a good idea to make it part of the buffet. I don’t think anyone will really abuse this since it will not be too healthy anyway to eat too much. Special Lunch in Subic

We had a special lunch in Subic this trip because we had a special guest who joined us…Tita Ludette! 🙂

Mom has these fancy placemats which are so cute 😉 You actually pull out the napkin from the wine bottle

We bought a griller from Royal Subic to grill our hotdogs and burgers. That’s David grilling for us

WOW!!! No one minded the burgers anymore!! 🙂 So crispy and tasty the skin! YUMMY!!

Shopping at Royal Subic

This is our most favorite hangout in Subic – we are here like everyday and maybe two to three times a day 🙂 Best time to go is opening time or in the morning. Or else after that it is jam packed!!

We get super ROYAL service deluxe!!

That’s Mom, I follow her around and dump some things in her cart 🙂

Mom gives the kids 7 items allowance for shopping 🙂

Love shopping in Royal, there is a wide variety of stuff to choose from…love the unique things we don’t see in Manila

Jaime wanted to eat korean food so we decided to drive down the boardwalk to look for one and this was what we saw. The restaurant of the Bayfront Hotel

Don’t expect much in terms of ambience

It’s a different kind of Korean resaturant-

They don’t give you the usual barbeque sauce but only this sauce which is sesame oil with salt and pepper

with chapchae noodles, something different too

of course lettuce to wrap

They serve the grill dishes with onion and potato

An unusual griller and they use butter

Pork, if you like pork

Chadolbagey which they call chadolpakle – this is the back part of the beef – we liked this!!

Bonding Indoors in Subic

We always love going to Subic

This trip was a stormy weekend and when normally Subic is good for outdoor activities and Mom was so excited to take the kids to Ocean Adventure and Zoobic, We were forced to stay indoors and do indoor things………..We don’t really have to go out to have fun!

Of course, we all brought our computers and everyone would go back and forth to this table 🙂

The smaller kids have their own living room. Those are dad’s collection of laser discs, VHS tapes and armor 🙂

Mom brought Jane with us for massage!!!!!!! THE BEST!! I think Jane enjoys coming along too because she gets to go out of town so she goes with us when she can like in Baguio and now in Subic. Jane is so good. She charges P 400.00 per hour. She is the family masahista in Manila. When she comes with us, she gets paid her normal rate but because we are plenty in the family, she does not really lose out by going out of town. In case, you can contact her: 0918-5319093

Rock the Blues

The Latest and Greatest Concert Series presents: RJ Jacinto and new-comer to the music scene, Bea Tantoco and her band, The Sauce, will be serenading you all some of the most familiar and contemporary R&B, jazz and rock ‘n roll tunes to date!

For those of you who have not yet heard of Bea Tantoco, she is the grand-daughter of the Rustan’s retail store owners, Bienvenido Sr. and Gliceria Tantoco. After graduating from Boston College, she still has then, been pursuing her career in the field of music, including composing her own material as well.

This is going to be one of those special nights for The Latest and Greatest Concert Series! So, mark your calendars and make sure to head down to Salon De Ning! Show starts @ 9pm.

Kamana Sanctuary Resort and Spa Subic Bay

I heard about this place from my friend, Des. So we went to check out the place. It’s around 17 km. away from the center of Subic and near the other outdoor activities like Ocean Adventure, Zoobic and on the way to Anvaya Cove. Since it was storming, there was hardly anyone out but the place was fully booked with 48 rooms. We liked the Casitas on top of the beach shore
