Highschool Reunion

We had a reunion with our high school friends from almost 30 years ago!! We were a big group which consisted of different smaller groups and we would see each other often and some of us almost everyday. We were so close and some were more than friends ( Uyyy 🙂 ) or at least wanted to be more than friends 🙂 But when we all went our separate ways for college, we did not see each other as a group since then…

This is proof that lost friendships can always be brought back. Manila’s Best @ Polo

I remember a few years back, Chef Vicky Clemente was doing a survey. She asked me what my favourite cakes were. I figured later on that this was probably the reason she was doing a survey – trying to find out the popular desserts! When Chef Vicky started as a consultant for the Manila Polo Club, she did many changes to the Food and Beverage department and I am happy to say that they have been effective. I particularly like the fact that you can get many of the city’s best desserts from the club and not having to pick up in far places. Far to me is Quezon City, Pasig area or the Alabang area in the South. This is convenient for the members of the club. Hoping that maybe someone can do this for the public too 🙂 I am sure many would pay a little more to have the convenience of just picking up their favourite desserts in a location closer to them [email_link]

Visiting the Kusama Collection

Since I missed the exhibit at the Ayala Museum last year, I was happy to see the Kusama Collection of Tito Lito and Tita Kim Camacho in their home. The collection comprises of 60 Kusama works of art

Juju Eats

We finally tried JuJu Eats and now James is a regular here. He told me he wants to try everything on the menu 🙂

I made sure to take this photo. I am glad the servers have a shield on their mouth area for sanitation purposes. Love the bandanas

You can make your own salad, but we wanted to try their own creations I always ask what their bestseller is, so they said Bigboy and Inasal Salad so we had both We got Bigboy as a wrap. I think that even if it has bacon, it is in a limited portion And Inasal as a salad Nutmilk which is made from nuts so it is dairy free. Good for people who are lactose intolerant or for those with acid reflux like me 🙂 [email_link]

Teddy’s Bigger Burgers

Brunch with the girlfriends 🙂 Thanks to Alexie for bringing us to her friend’s place, Teddy’s Bigger Burgers! They are the same ones bringing in Wolfgang Steakhouse which will be sometime in January next year
I was there before it opened 🙂 I requested for brunch and I think it was a good idea because people were already starting to come in and when 12 noon came, the lines were long
So happy to be with Alexie and Margie – we enjoyed without the husbands! haha!!

And because it’s called Bigger Burgers – I made sure we ordered the biggest burger they had!! I told Alexie that we should just share it amongst us and it was just right18 oz. BIGGEST Double Monster Burger with special toppings Kailua which is their best seller. My friend, JJ Yulo, recommends it Medium rare! I agree! Or maybe Medium. They say to put peanut butter to give it a different twist, but I did not know if we should have risked it for a big burger so we will be back to try it!! We ask them to split this into three but they were only able to half it – so we just split the two halves for a third portionBestselling side is Tater tots so we ordered itOnion ringsCoffee Shake which is 90% ice cream so you can imagine how thick it is
