Hamilo Coast consists of 13 coves which is owned by SM Investment Corp
Pico De Loro is only one of the coves and the first that they have developed
A 2 1/2 hour drive from Manila
Or you can arrive by helicopter 🙂
Run by Senior Vice President, Rona Torres- Tan, Marketing Consultant, Rea Gomez-Harrow and AVP of Customer Service, Marga Reyes. A great team! And James and I really noticed the friendly staff and great customer service.
Come now while it is relatively new and not so many people know about it yet so you can have the beach all to yourself 🙂
Rea best described it as Nasugbu’s BEST KEPT SECRET!
They have developed 8 condominium towers and have sold around 80% of the units already. You need to be a unit owner or a member of the club to be able to come inside Pico De Loro and use the facilities
There is the country club
And the Beach Club by the beach 🙂

Thanks to Carla Hernandez Dy Liaco for some of the photos

We arrived Saturday afternoon at our home in Pico De Loro. Pico de Loro is only for members and guests of members. So for those members or those who own a condo unit, they can invite their guests to stay at the Pico Sands Hotel. It is very new and opened only 2 months ago.
Rea Gomez Harrow who is a Consultant for Hamilo Coast was there to meet us with the Resident Manager, Aris Alcuaz. Thank you for a wonderful stay!! I wish we could have stayed longer 🙂
My favorite part of the hotel 🙂
Many works of art around the hotel, this is my favorite one which goes from the ground floor all the way to the top
We stayed in the Penthouse Loft!

It’s the only room with a reception area/living room. It can be turned into a room since the sofa is a pullout bed
Stairs going up to the bedroom
The bedroom
With a beautiful view

We bumped into Leah Sison Magallanes who is the head of Food and Beverage at Pico De Loro. She is in charge of all the food outlets and training all the chefs in the place
The dinner buffet comes with the show and was supposed to be by the beach also but due to the rain, it was moved indoors.
Together with great entertainment was great food! We had great Filipino food!! Leah is obviously doing a great job!!

We went all the way to Pico De Loro to watch our cousin Bea perform!
The gig was supposed to be by the beach but it rained so it had to be moved to the ballroom. The beach would have been really really nice!!!
But we still had fun and Bea of course was great and getting better everytime!
So happy my brother, Jun Jun, came along together with Margs and her family! We had a nice time!

Previous entry: Welcome to Diesel Island March 19, 2011
After settling on the island, the pioneers need to turn the Successful Living philosophy in a set of principles and prescribe their own rules: this is showcased in the new development of the brand’s campaign, the writing of
The Diesel islanders have not lost their hope in fighting for their right to succeed, taking the Be Stupid manifesto of having balls, letting go, creating stuff, throwing it all in the air and seeing where it lands.
The campaign comes to life with a 360° approach. On Diesel’s main site each picture will be featured as a pop-up book, having a different animation, representing one of the laws of the Constitution. Along with the set of laws, the election of a government where social networks serve as polling places: a facebook application, an Island TAB, a YouTube Channel, and digital gadgets on FlickR. Furthermore, a video will be broadcasted across social media sites: a parody of a musical, where the pioneers sing the principles of the Diesel Island Constitution.
On top of it all, the
The future of the island is yet to be revealed. A small hint along the way: we are f****g it up.

I heard about this place from our friends, Mart and Sam and thought it would be a nice place for our next lunch with the group. When I arrived it reminded me of a place we went to here before and apparently it was. It was the old Fat Michael’s.
A French guy, Chef Patrice, took over the place. He used to run a restaurant in Puerto Galera and has decided to come to the city
A nice and cozy place, just like we were in our own home 🙂
Two notes from Lucille which she sent to us
Chef Patrice says that he makes everything fresh except for the bread! He can make french breads but it is just too time consuming for now. And just like the real French Cuisine, Chef Patrice says he does not put any salt and pepper, you have to put your own

Brown bread! A healthier aletnerative
There is an ala carte menu
Det who is on a Cohen diet, did not get the set menu instead she just ordered the Terrine, French meat loaf. Which was good
Carbonara for everyone to share aside from our set meal
And we all had the set menu which we find very reasonable. It’s always good to have a set meal where you have a complete meal from starter to dessert
Starters
Terrine, French Meat Loaf

Soup of the Day – Cream of Broccoli
Green Salad
This is what Mart knew I would like. Steak Tenderloin in Blue Cheese
Salmon Papilotte
Beef Stroganoff
And Brenda had the Special Main course for the day
All desserts come without any sugar added. They were good enough for us. We appreciate healthy dishes nowadays especially with two of us having caner, one on a Cohen diet and the rest who have to lose some weight and eat healthier 🙂
Chocolate Mousse
Creme Caramel
Apple Pie
