Philippines Wine Fiesta by Straits Wine Company

Restaurante Las Redes

And finally lunch!!  Enjoying a lot of the seafood being on the Northern coast of Spain!

Dad and Mom got one of these set meals – the Especial ala Plancha which was very worth it!

The arroz dishes were very reasonable and good for two already!  We were happy because we have been wanting to have some sort of Paella

Santilian del Mar

Driving out of Santander on our way to our next city, Oviedo.  We stopped by Santillian on the way which is part of the Camino so you can see some pilgrims passing by.  A very nice quaint town.  I love walking through the little towns in Europe

Marucho

We only stayed overnight in Santander and so we had one meal and it was a very very good meal!!!  A small restaurant

with no frills 🙂  We were very cozy in our table since the place was quite small, but it was worth it!!!  That is the owner there in the photo and she was so busy helping out!

Finally gambas!! SUPER YUM! and calamares that was so fresh and so good!!! Dad was happy to have one of his favorite Spanish wines, Antonio Barbadillo

 My dad was also very happy he finally had his percebes!  I think this is a guy thing because it was only the guys who ate it! and they enjoyed so much! 🙂

Shine Bakery and Cafe

Heart2Heart is always excited to try new restaurants!!

Still on soft opening is Shine Bakery and Cafe in SM Aura! 


Named after the chef and owner, SunSHINE Puey Pengson.  She lives up to her name – always looking pretty, always smiling and shining 🙂   

Congratulations Tara Santos who is part owner and cousin of Sunshine.  And of course together with Sunshine’s partner and husband, Chef Rob Pengson.  Chef Rob Pengson said that Shine is about “Having fun with everyday gastronomy.”

These cupcakes for me are sophisticated cupcakes 🙂  I love them because they are so gourmet and have tastes that I have never tasted before on a cupcake!

Christmas at Gourmet Garage

We celebrated Mom’s birthday and Thanksgiving.  It was so nice to see Tito Ralph there and Tita Winny and Tito Christian Monsod who are regulars at Gourmet Garage!
