Yakitori One

By | Foodie | No Comments

Heart2Heart is so happy to finally try Yakitori One in the Food court of SM Aura!

I love this food court!  It’s so clean and bright.  I hope it will stay this way and not only because it is brand new

Yakitori One is right beside it’s sister brand Pepper Lunch

Cecile told me that she and Jeroen has been wanting to open a Yakitori place for so long hoping she could get the Tori Q franchise from Singapore.  But it just did not seem to work out so they just created their own brand

The sauce that makes every yakitori taste good!

Grilling station

Each stick is grilled twice.  First in this grilling machine

Then lastly here.  Grilling is a much healthier alternative than fried!

yakitori-one-11.JPGyakitori-one-12.JPG

It was coincidence that this was the day my friend, Peachy, could meet up with me and that she is the cousin of Cecile 🙂  We also bumped into Cecile who like me does not usually like to be in the photo! 🙂  Notice our table and all the yakitori!  James and my cousin Gogs joined us too so that is not all for us 🙂

This is the only yakitori I ordered that is salty – Tori Karaage which I love! 🙂  You have to order two to get the mayo sauce for free

Yakitori is better with rice 🙂

We ordered almost one of each of everything in the menu!  We wanted to try all!

More friends coming over to try Yakitori One!! Malu Gamboa, Raymond and Anna Rufino

And Keri Zamora always looking so pretty

Or you can take it out in this nice packaging

And since I did not see Jeroen, I took his photo from IG 🙂  Congratulations Jeroen and more power to you and Cecile!

Tuesday Lunch

By | Foodie, Tributes | No Comments

For as long as I can remember, my Dad and one of his bestfriends, Tito Boni, have been seeing each other every week, every tuesday for lunch!  They call it Tuesday lunch 🙂  They are so cute and I admire them for what they have.

They take turns choosing the restaurant to eat it.  After awhile, they were inviting the family to join – so whoever can make it – we join the lunch.  A few weeks ago, I was the only one who could make it 🙂

Dad loves Kuretake and for a time and until now he chooses to come here and he used to have Chicken teriyaki every single time.  It’s a good thing that lately he has changed to having this set meal with grilled jaw

18 years means 19 years of marriage, that’s how I keep track 🙂 Happy Birthday to my son who is now an adult.  I wish and pray for only the best and that God may continue to bless him

Jaime had a small and intimate celebration at home for his 18th birthday
