We are so lucky we have a very efficient concierge, our friend Pepe 🙂 We asked him to look for a Persian restaurant for us in the area and he found one for us!! And we loved it!!!
Nice bread basket
You put the mint leaves, radish, walnuts and feta cheese inside the pita bread and roll and eat
A yogurt drink, Doogh, which James was hoping to taste like lassi but it was different – not sweet- it was yogurt with soda, mint and pepper
It’s a different menu from the Persian we expected – they did not have hummus 🙂

Mirza Ghasemi which we figured was Misa Kasemi which we order here in Manila – and it was! YUM! Good thing they had this
Koobideh for me which was a lot! I could eat only half of one stick but can eat almost all that rice! haha – good thing I have two boys with me to eat the rest
Barreh which was Lamb – ordered by Pepe- very good too!
Barg which is filet mignon – which the boys liked the best among all

We were hearing about the IHOP craze in Manila, so James said he wanted to try it before going home so he can compare the two
We ordered the Pancake Combo
I like it that the syrups are all on the table and lots of choices too
This came first and it was okay
And then James chose Chocolate Chip pancake
They did not give us whipped butter so I asked for some – I do not know if it is a Pancake House thing only- but I want my pancakes with whipped butter 🙂 We hope to get to try IHOP in Manila soon and be able to compare our experience

For Sunday lunch, Pepe took us to this Singaporean restaurant in Burlingame which we loved!! Thank you Pepe!!

Crispy Hainan Chicken for US$ 15.00 not bad! I also wanted to try a crispy version hainanese chicken …..wishing there were more crispy skin on top 🙂

Spent a day with my good friend Triccie. She took me shopping so we did not want to spend too much time eating haha! So we ate as soon as we saw an eating place near where we were shopping. This is BJs the restaurant and not the warehouse club 🙂

I tried it differently by ordering the boneless wings – but it tasted like chicken tenders – so maybe best to just order the regular wings
Triccie says they make their own beer – so I took a photo of the menu since I do not really drink beer 🙂
