The gang had our christmas get together and we went to the South which is nearer for Pao and Trina. We were so happy because we discovered this place in BF Homes. Pao and Trina had heard about it from their sister, Bea. It is only a year old and because they were celebrating their anniversary, we got a 15% discount on our bill 🙂
This was our baby shower celebration as well for our dear friend, Trina who is about to pop soon 🙂
Pao and Trina are expecting a girl, so don’t ask me why I brought blue themed decorations thinking it was a boy! I knew very well it was a girl! Stress and age 🙂

We arrived ahead of Pao and Trina so Mish and I started ordering because we were so hungry!
I loved this platter – they put together all our appetizer rolls in one platter
I hope I get the names right – all I can remember was they were all good! Something different, not the usual japanese rolls
Tuna and Scallops dynamite
Spicy Tuna roll
Unagi Cream Cheese Maki
Fried oysters – again a unique dish – it’s the sauce and toppings that made it different
Gyoza!
Sensei Seafood pasta – I was so curious to taste this so we ordered it
Pan Roasted Salmon – it’s always the sauces and toppings that make his dish unique. We loved this dish!
Crispy Pork Confit Rice Bowl – Also yummy!!
Then Pao and Trina arrived!! And told us that we should look for the Chef and order the Omakaze meal! After ordering all those, we realized we made a mistake! But anyway, Pao looked for the Chef and apparently he was the guy behind the counter and we did not even know! Meet Chef Broosy!! So young, 21 years old!! Listen to him 🙂

We requested to do half Omakaze since we ordered almost half the menu already 🙂 He is requesting for two days notice and a budget which cannot be below P 1,500 per person for the Omakaze. He will prepare a surprise meal for you for up to 15 dishes!!!!!
This was what we had that evening….
Sashimi Platter – Hamachi, Amaebi, Hokkaido Scallops with seaweed, Scallion vinaigrette, buttermilk dressing and snapper tostada! WOW!! We all enjoyed this! He brought the platter and we just shared
Uni Tempura
Pork Belly Kakuni style with Roasted carrots, braised radishes, onions and fresh herbs – Everything unique and tasted so good!
Beef Tataki with shaved foie gras, potato and fresh wasabi- AMAZING!!! Make sure you ask for this!!!
Chef Broosy behind the counter – concocting his dishes
We ordered the two desserts in the menu
Grilled banana

Half Baked Chocolate cake

On our last evening in Udaipur, Mom booked dinner at the resort. It was also a celebration for her birthday which would happen in two days. I am including here an excerpt from the diary of Tito Joe who writes very well and could not describe it better than any of us. Thank you Mom for a wonderful dinner, it was the best meal we had in our whole stay in India.
Mom’s prayer before the meal – she really takes it seriously and even writes it down 🙂

After our visit to the Bishnoi Village, we went to Rohet, a resort nearby, to have our lunch!
A beautiful resort in the desert! Definitely a place to relax and have a peaceful stay
Delicious Indian lunch except for Mom’s Spaghetti bolognese which she requested 🙂
We can never get enough of this! YUM!
Gulab Jamun! Everyone is happy again! Raj suggested we have it with vanilla ice cream! So from here one, we always looked for Vanilla ice cream to go with our Gulab Jamun 🙂
The owner of the resort came out to greet us and tell us about his place. He told us that his wife is the one who did the interiors of the place
He escorted us out and told us that Madonna with Guy Richie and family stayed in that camp nearby and he had the priveledge of hosting her while she was there
