Sensei Sushi Bar by Chef Broosy

By | Celebrations, Foodie | One Comment

The gang had our christmas get together and we went to the South which is nearer for Pao and Trina.  We were so happy because we discovered this place in BF Homes. Pao and Trina had heard about it from their sister, Bea.   It is only a year old and because they were celebrating their anniversary, we got a 15% discount on our bill 🙂

This was our baby shower celebration as well for our dear friend, Trina who is about to pop soon 🙂

sushi-sensei-027.jpgsushi-sensei-028.jpg

Pao and Trina are expecting a girl, so don’t ask me why I brought blue themed decorations thinking it was a boy!  I knew very well it was a girl!  Stress and age 🙂

sushi-sensei-010.jpgsushi-sensei-09.jpg

We arrived ahead of Pao and Trina so Mish and I started ordering because we were so hungry!

Crispy Pork Confit Rice Bowl – Also yummy!!

sushi-sensei-022.jpg

Then Pao and Trina arrived!! And told us that we should look for the Chef and order the Omakaze meal!  After ordering all those, we realized we made a mistake!  But anyway, Pao looked for the Chef and apparently he was the guy behind the counter and we did not even know!  Meet Chef Broosy!! So young, 21 years old!! Listen to him 🙂

[wp_youtube]kEUSytJ52QU[/wp_youtube]

We requested to do half Omakaze since we ordered almost half the menu already 🙂  He is requesting for two days notice and a budget which cannot be below P 1,500 per person for the Omakaze.  He will prepare a surprise meal for you for up to 15 dishes!!!!!

This was what we had that evening….

Sashimi Platter – Hamachi, Amaebi, Hokkaido Scallops with seaweed, Scallion vinaigrette, buttermilk dressing and snapper tostada! WOW!! We all enjoyed this!  He brought the platter and we just shared

Chef Broosy behind the counter – concocting his dishes

By | Foodie, Travel | No Comments

On our last evening in Udaipur, Mom booked dinner at the resort.  It was also a celebration for her birthday which would happen in two days.  I am including here an excerpt from the diary of Tito Joe who writes very well and could not describe it better than any of us.  Thank you Mom for a wonderful dinner, it was the best meal we had in our whole stay in India.
