We received a text from Paolo inviting to Casa Marcos. I am not familiar with the place but Pao said it was an old restaurant he remembers as a kid and was happy they reopened. He also wanted to take Trina out so it was a good excuse to meet up with the gang again
It’s 2 floors and on the ground floor is BREAD BAG and a bar.
Going up to the 2nd floor
The happy gang 🙂 Happy to always be with them
and an updated photo of cutie pie Santino who is growing up so fast!!!
I loved the mini pandesal basket!! They make their pandesal fresh and YUMMY!!!!! Mish tried to order some downstairs for take home but they don’t sell them, only the regular pandesal sizes

Lengua Sevillana- was wondering why it was served this way compared to the photo in the menu
This was my favorite the Pan de Sal Ice cream! I was so curious what it was. It’s just like French Toast but they used pandesal! YUMMY!

We wanted to take our foreign guests for good Filipino food in the Greenbelt 5 area, so we tried Mesa for the first time and the food was really good. The place was so full, I wish they had a bigger area so it would not be too noisy and not so tight in the inside seating area, and we would be more comfortable

Below Casa Vallejo is Hill Station. This is like the coffeeshop of restaurant of the hotel. I heard about this place from friends so I asked Dad and Mom to take me here. So this was our last stop before leaving Baguio
To me, as important as the food is the ambience of the restaurant. I like it when the place is clean, nice, cozy and comfortable. The feeling is light, happy and just give you an overall good feeling.
It’s a nice open space with a nice view and the beauty of Baguio is the weather is so nice so the windows were just all opened and it was just perfect that day
I asked the owner if I could take her photo for my website, so here she is 🙂 Mitos, the owner. I heard from Vicky Clemente that she is the daughter of the owner of Mario’s restaurant
There is a pasalubong corner where you can take home some of the restaurants creations
I like trying and seeing different and unique bread baskets and not always the usual french bread and butter. This was olive oil with like a spice, yummy!
Caesar Salad
Gambas Al Pilpil
Tex Mex Fries
Calamares with Paprika Mayo
Seafood Carbonara- but Mischka had the seafood removed
Chicken Biryani
Mini Blue Cheeseburgers
Crispy Duck Flakes – it should come with Laing but dad had it removed
Lechon Kawali with Laing sa Gata
Of course they have breakfast as they cater to the tenants of Casa Vallejo

Paella Calamares En Su Tinta
Our Dessert buffet 🙂
Love this cute tray
Some people like Good Shepherd, some like Romana and some like Tantamco’s. I guess just like anything else, “to each his own”
The brittle apparently is not so thick, so I guess this is for people who don’t like to have too much of the brittle, hence less sugar and less rich
Thank you Tito Stephen and Tita Reg, Thank you for making our world special and being part of our lives, our family, we love you!

Happy Birthday to our dear friend Rachelle! Every year she celebrates her birthday and this year I am glad I was in town to celebrate with her
Previous entry: Rachelle’s 40th Birthday Celebration June 13, 2010
Rachelle writes so well and describes her birthday celebration best so I am quoting her:
And since I always feel that birthdays need to be celebrated everytime
Whether simple or not
It is just a thanksgiving for another year
I love birthdays
I enjoy getting older
I am proud of my age
I feel I earned it
It’s a gift and a milestone everytime
It’s celebrating life
So here’s to friends and making it easy for me to have a great celebration each time
And I am so happy that finally I get to try a full cocktail buffet by Thomas!!! Thank you Thomas for preparing our wonderful spread! A labor of LOVE for Rachelle 🙂
Angel Hair Pasta with Shrimps and Lemon Oil
Thomas and Rachelle tod me that they were inspired by their trip to Cambodia which serves as the inspiration for the cocktails. Thomas told me they bought these stones from Cambodia and they weighed so much inside their luggage! 🙂 But what a beautiful idea
Pate de Foie Gras
Chicken Satay
Stilton Mousse in Puffed Pastry
Scallops wrapped in bacon
Port Salut
Whew! Finished 🙂
