Sandaya

This is one of the favorite places of my boys whenever I give them a choice of where to eat!  It’s a no frills yakiniku place.  Just straight, simple yakiniku and ENJOY! 🙂

sandaya-07.jpg

And since they are boys, they only think of beef! So we tried almost all kinds of beef to see which one we really like

CAB Angus Beef Boneless Short Ribs – this is their best seller and this is also what they all like P 350.00 for all of this

sandaya-09.jpg

US Prime Chuck Tender

sandaya-010.jpg

US Hanging Tender

sandaya-011.jpg

I put everything on the grill and they get what they like….survival of the fastest!  🙂

sandaya-014.jpg

Yukke- still a beef dish

sandaya-013.jpg

and we always order the tongue and make sure they give us the special sauce for the tongue which is like oil with salt – squeeze the calamansi before cooking then dip in the sauce before eating 🙂

sandaya-015.jpg

and eat plenty yummy japanese rice with you Yakiniku!  YUM YUM!

By | Foodie | One Comment

I was very happy to catch up with my highschool friends from Assumption, Lisa and Margie!  They were our “Kapatiran” sisters in highschool. It was so nice to catch up with them and see them!! I invited them over to my favorite Persian place:

Previous entry:  Authentic Persian Mediterranean Food October 4, 2010

Here is Lisa offering me her kebab sandwich which she calls ” Lisa’s Way.”  She says this is the way she likes her persian food and she wanted me to try it so we ordered the components and she made it for me 🙂

By | Finds, Foodie | 4 Comments

I am so happy that our get together is more regular now and we are more up to date on each other’s lives.   Lucille, who is like the mother of the group 🙂 just arrived and planned it.  The last time was at IMCKavino

Previous Entry:  IMCKavino February 26, 2011

I have been hearing about this place and good thing the girls chose it. It used to be the former Magnet Cafe and it is right across Cav at Bonifacio Highstreet

2nds-01.jpg2nds-03.jpg2nds-026.jpg2nds-04.jpg2nds-025.jpg2nds-05.jpg2nds-06.jpg2nds-07.jpg

WE WERE COMPLETE!!!  And you can see the waiter’s reflection on the glass taking our picture 🙂

2nds-023.jpg2nds-012.jpgimg_0423.jpg

Our two very strong girlfriends – Luzanne and Des.  I really admire them for their courage and strength in their fight against cancer.  It’s interesting to get first hand real life experiences from them and seeing how each of them is coping in different ways.  Like for example, Luzanne chooses to use a wig and Des prefers to use a bandana.   And despite what they are going through,  they can still be very open about it and laugh with us about it.  I am so happy that they make us part of their lives because we want to support them and let them know that we are behind them and love them

Compliments 🙂  kamote chips
