The Raffles Hotel prepared their own buffet set ups!!!  I had to separate this because there was just too many spectacular things to share!!  They did a very good job!!!! The presentation and the out of the box ideas were truly AMAZING!

By the entrance of the hallway was this sushi buffet which was actually sweet sushi 🙂

If you look closer, they are fruits on top and the rice is probably suman or sticky rice.  I was not able to try this but just looking at it made me very happy 🙂
There were two bikes going around the event.  My favourite one of them all was the cheese buffet on this bike!  It’s a good thing I took all the photos before everyone devoured this!  It was such a pretty cheese buffet – the best I have ever seen in my life! 🙂I took a photo of every angle and every part of it because I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!  Too bad I did not get to try everythingThere was another bike going around with Asian delicaciesAnother spectacular buffet was the dessert buffet which had 151 kinds of desserts! I normally like to try a small pinch of everything so I guess I cannot possibly do that here!  But wow!  The ultimate dessert buffet!  There were desserts with gold leaf on them too and those went fast 🙂  Love the miniature grapes!

Outside the ballroom was a table with a chocolate buffet by Chef Miko Aspiras!!!  AMAZING!!!! A work of art!

To make sulit our trip to BF Homes I insited on trying Ble which Janet told me was one of her favourite places.  So after The Girl + The Bull we went here.

We already knew we were coming so we did not stuff ourselves .  Yeah right! haha!!

It’s literally a hole in the wall!  A very small place!  We were lucky we got a table when we went. But in a few weeks they will be opening another branch in El Grande down the road.  Please open in Makati!

Ble means blue in Greek

We went to BF Homes to try the Girl + The Bull.  That is the only sign you will see, the one on the bottom

It’s in a building that looks like a castle 🙂  It’s owned by the family of The Bull 🙂

They are so young!!  Only 23 years old.  They arrived when we were almost finished eating.  Apparently they had come from Makati where they are busy preparing for the opening of their second restaurant called 12/10.   12/10 is their anniversary 🙂   It will be opening in less than a month so we are looking forward to it!

I love short menus!  I think that short menus means they are all good 🙂  They are the best they can offer!  Everything we ordered was super yum!

This was my order which was super duper amazing!!!  Foie Gras Double Down – Buttermilk fried foie gars + Seared foie gras, bacon, smoked Gouda, balsamic maple syrup. pink peppercorn!!!  DEADLY! BUT WOW! I call it the Foie Gras Burger!!

Vacation with the Kids July 29, 2014

Thanks Bulgin and Lills for hosting!  I insisted on a blue and white theme 🙂Homemade iced tea and fresh buko juice

It was a fondue dinner and I was in charge of sauces 🙂  Bernaise, Tartare, Spicy Catsup, Curry and Peanut butterInstead of cooking with a fondue cooker – we just had it cooked so it’s faster 🙂  No need to wait one by one 🙂 Thanks to Chef Arnel for cooking for us Potluck Fondue so people were assigned to bring rib eye beef, chicken and pork

I also brought the sate riceLills brought buko from Bulacan – so the juice went to the juice dispenser and the shells she used as a bowl to serve the fruit salad she made 🙂  YUMMY!!Plus she made banana turon which she claims is the best! 🙂  YUM![email_link]
