Two weeks ago, we went to visit our good friend’s newly opened Shawarma place in BF Homes. We went on the day that they opened to wish them luck in their new venture and have been back a second time already because it is so yummy 🙂

For now, it is only Shawarma in pita bread or with rice and your choice of beef or chicken. Later on there will be other Lebanese favorites

I like my Shawarma with rice most of the time, so I got the chicken rice, YUMMY!!! The rice is so tasty as well!
And then I took home a few orders since BF Homes is so far from us..hopefully a Makati branch!

My former highschool teacher, Joanne Ramirez, told me that the best ensaymada is made by Rina Go. So I went to Powerplant mall at the Baker’s Dozen and visited Rina’s table, Nic’s Bakeshop
Here it is!! Parmesan Ensaymada !!! The key word there is parmesan! 🙂
I bought some and here it is after I had them toast it at home. YUUUUUMMMMMMYYYYY!!!!! Thanks Ms. Ramirez for telling me about this ensaymada! And to Rina, thank you for creating a yummy ensaymada! 🙂

Heart2Heart got so excited to see all the photos of Jenny!! I knew Jenny was a dentist but I did not know she was a great cook as well!! And I wonder how she keeps herself so slim and of course as beautiful as always! 🙂 Hopefully we can visit you in Singapore one of these days so we can try some of your yummy food! Meantime, keep tempting us and keep those photos coming! Keep cooking and baking 🙂

Bambi has been telling me about her friend who is a very good chef. I am so happy to finally meet her!!! And only to find out she is the sister of one of my highschool classmates, Tine Tine!
Tricia went to the New York Restaurant School and was a pastry chef in New York.
We were so lucky to have tried her super duper yummy Banana Chocolate Muffin which she made for Bambi’s birthday lunch!!!

More favorites from Japan- you can find them everywhere and they are addicting! Comes in different flavors, and of course Heart2Heart’s favorite is the cheese ( Camembert ) flavored one- but the others are good too

The road trip continues to Pennsylvania which is around 3 hours from New Jersey and maybe 2 hours from New York. Again beautiful scenery
We went to visit the factory of our favorite snacks 🙂
They had a fast food place where we had our lunch as soon as we arrived
We joined the factory tour where they showed us how they make their potato chips!!!!
Picture taking was not allowed inside the factory, so no photos. But here is a photo of freshly made potato chips! WOW!!!!!!!!!! Really YUMMY!!!
At the end of the tour is the souvenir shop!! You can buy all the kinds of snacks and all souvenir items from Herr’s!!!
