The de Jesus family hosted the Welcome Dinner for the kids. Of course it has to be PINOY! 🙂 I made sure the staff looked Pinoy! 🙂

Jaime made a special request to serve his foreign guests a boodle fight, so that’s what they had! All out kamayan and I thought it was a great idea because I have been wanting to do a boodle fight for the longest time! Thank you Gourmet Garage and Chef Booj for a great set up

I was thinking of a Halo Halo station but decided to do something different. Since the kids love mango, I opted for a mango dessert buffet – 3 mango cakes from Cuerva – Mango Cake, Mango Jubilee cake and Chocolate mango torte, Chocolate covered dried mangoes and fresh mangoes

I wanted to try something different so I ordered the chocolate mango torte from Cuerva! It’s also good! 
My Mom has been in the food business ever since she started working in Rustan’s Supermarket. She and my Dad started it in 1970. My Dad always recalls that he was opening the supermarket when my Mom was pregnant with me so I know the year! 🙂 Mom started Bon Apetit Patisserie and Cafe when there were no other cafes opening in Manila. It was a very popular place to eat in. Up to today she is still in the food business, this time for catering. This is just one of the many things my Mom does. Now I know where I get my knack for wanting to get into everything – though no one beats my Mo! She can multi task and be so energetic to do so many things all at once!

Chef de Cuisine William Mahi
With 19 years of culinary experience under his belt, the 33-year old Tasting Room Chef de Cuisine William Mahi has received numerous accolades, including a Gold Medal as Best Apprentice of France in 1998; Best European Restaurant in 2010 by Shanghai Travel and Leisure (for LAN Club Shanghai); Running Chef of the Year award in China by the City Weekend Magazine in 2011; Best Hotel Restaurant in Turkey for 2012 (for Gaja Restaurant); and 2 Stars in the Michelin Guide (2014).
From 2013 to 2014, he was Consultant and Chef de Cuisine at Spondi Restaurant, one of the best restaurants in Athens. Spondi has 2 Michelin stars, and was ranked #97 in the list of San Pellegrino World’s 50 Best Restaurants in 2013. Mahi grew up in the Basque area of France. His experience hails from working in Paris and Lyon in 1, 2 and 3-Michelin Star restaurants, where he rose from apprentice to Sous Chef. I love having themes and logos when it’s a gathering or some group trip! 🙂 So I had one made for the kids. For graduation – Jaime, Antonio and Yasmeen – invited 25 of their friends from school to come over to the Philippines to celebrate. After all they worked very hard the past years and now are ready to start a new chapter in their life and work even harder in college 🙂Gina, the mom of Antonio, Donya, the mom of Yasmeen and I divided the kids so we could accommodate them in our homes. We have been planning and organizing this for months
They all arrived on the 8th of June but in different flights. This was the first batch that stayed in the house 🙂 I had 8 adopted kids who were all very good and we loved having them over 
From the first batch, 6 of them went to Gina’s house
Since I did not have an extra room, I put them in our basement where the kids usually hang out. I had five boys and 4 girls. So the boys stayed here
We had 8 additional beds in our home. In our home, our kids always invite their friends over and we like it. We have many that come and visit and some live with us. This time is the most we have and I had to borrow mattresses and sheets from mom. They say when you get married, you marry his/her family. With us, we have a saying that when you have kids, you adopt their friends and they become a member of the family 🙂
Not enough towel racks so I put a clothes rack to hang the towels and just labelled them

The four girls I put in one of the rooms – I just put two queen beds on the floor since I did not have any real beds. Gina’s house was much better!! :-O

I converted Jaime’s room into a spa! haha!! I treated the girls to a massage 🙂
The next day they left for Boracay and look at the smiles on their faces 🙂 Four days in Boracay for them!

Graduation of the Form of 2015. St. Paul’s School Sunday, May 31, 2015. It was supposed to be on the Chapel lawn but it rained so they had to do it in the gym. 156 graduates today and is the biggest graduating class in St. Paul’s School
We came around an hour ahead of the Graduation so we could get good seats, but apparently people were putting clothes and things to reserve haha!!! We could have done this too!! 🙂

Our biggest investment is the education of our kids. That is the best gift we can ever give. We planned to send our kids to college abroad but Jaime on his own asked us if he could leave already for high school. I was very hesitant because I was worried he was too young. Till Father Caluag @titocaluag gave the go signal. He told me that by his age he should have already formed his values and learned from his parents and the family. I took that as God’s decision and message. Three years later, I am happy we did the right thing and our investment paid off. Congratulations to our eldest son Jaime!!! – Jaime Eduardo Lopez de Jesus – He graduated Cum Laude and is a big bonus and a super blessing.We are so proud! Though this is just the beginning and still have so much ahead

St. Paul’s School has so many traditions. For graduation there were many and one of them was the handshaking by all the teachers with each and every graduate. They all lined up and the graduates shook the hand ( and some hugged 🙂 ) of each teacher in school. There were just as many teachers as graduates. In SPS, the ratio of teacher to student is 1:5

Another unexpected guest – Kuya Mon – Jaime’s first cousin. So happy he attended and now even knows Jaime’s friends. We were one of the biggest family in attendance – 13
