My good friend, Michele, took me to this place and we both enjoyed it!!  It is not the traditional Japanese restaurant so don’t expect it to be that.  I am so glad my friend is adventurous as I am adventurous! 🙂Â
Halfway through the stairs there is a non smoking dining area Â
and all the way to the top is the smoking area which have dividers 🙂
I am so happy to always see my friend and since it is more often, we don’t have to have long lunches to catch up
Michele knows me so well that she knew what dishes I would like!!  And it’s a good thing we like the same 🙂  And YES she ordered all that…and NO we did not finish everything! 🙂  But we enjoyed tremendously because we like cheese, risotto, different kinds of salts and enjoyed having a different kind of Japanese meal!
They have a long long menu to choose from! They still have some basic japanese dishes but presented nicely. Â To me the portions looked small in the photos, but don’t be fooled, they are quite big! So you can share them and get good value for your moneyÂ

My Mom has such great ideas!!  She and her friends Tita Monina, Tito Golty and Tita Reggie bought food from the Mercato and instead of eating it there- we brought it all home and ate it in the comfort of Mom’s dining table!!
Previous entry: Â Mercato Centrale @ BGCÂ
Tita Reggie even bought ingredients and made a really yummy fritatta with fresh tomato, basil and quesong puti!
fried the daing
Really very good from  this vendorÂ
Super enjoyed the breakfast at home, hope we can do this all the time 🙂Â
From the bulalo vendor!! Early in the morning having bulalo!  YUMMY! There was only one left when I arrived in the table so that was what I ate 🙂
From the fish and chips vendor! YUMMY ALSO!Â
Tita Reggie put together this fresh salad and made the dressing as well Â

Last Sunday, I went with Mom to see Mercato Centrale at the Fort! Â We went at around 7:30 am and saw many people jogging and exercising around the fort. Â Â
The white tents beside Bonifacio High Street is where Mercato Centrale is. Â I have been waiting for a weekend market closer to home and this is the answer!!!!Â
It’s big with many many vendors!! Heart2Heart went crazy! Â But due to lack of time, I was only able to take photos and not SHOP! Â It took much time just taking photos and I was able to take almost everyone unless they were not yet set up. Â Please bear with the photos as I was rushing since I had to go with Mom already. Â Will need to definitely go back to shop. And also hope to feature some vendors in detail!

We had a nice business dinner at Spices.  Thanks for including spouses which is why Yuri, Erich and I are here as well.  Meals are also good venues for business partners to meet and celebrate successful ventures, partnerships and friendships! Hope we can have this more than once a year!! 🙂  Â
Our most favorite dish in Spices!! Tom Nuong! Will come back and come back just to have this!

A few days before Christmas, Raffy and Carmina organized an East College Reunion! Â Spouses were invited:-) We went to Opus at Resorts World
There is a dining area in the front of the place and I heard the Chef is Chef Carlo MiguelÂ
And as you go further down, it leads you to the club area
Thanks guys for organizing the reunion, it was nice to see everyone before Christmas!Â

We ate in Pho 24 at Powerplant Mall and since this was still last year, I forgot the names of the dishes already. Â Sorry about that.Â
Since there were some members of the family that don’t really eat noodle soup, we ordered from their sister restaurant right across, Banana Leaf 🙂 They allowed it
