We finally tried our sons favorite Korean restaurant in Manila. Minsok in Poblacion. It’s been there since 15 years ago even before Poblacion is what it is now.
It’s no frills, filled with Koreans, smoky and with the gas tank showing under the table 🙂 
…..but has yummy Chadolbaki. We still have to try the others.

It’s owned by Seo Wook Seok who is friends with the Korean friend of our son – Dachan @dachan_park Mr. Seok goes around and cooks for everyone – he helps serve and makes sure everything is ok 🙂 #Minsok #KoreanBBQ

This is their annual event that keeps growing every year with last year’s 250 attendees.
“We are currently organizing the 2017 Annual International Wine And Food Society Manila Ladies Branch Wine Crawl which will be on Sat, Feb. 18 at the Green Sun Arts Center on Pasong Tamo extension. Doors open at 3:30pm but you can come in anytime until 8pm. It’s a great way to discover new wines & perhaps learn about different types and styles of wine. We invited 12 merchants & select only 6 wines for them to feature. Wines are all served in tasting portions so it’s always a fun way to spend a Saturday afternoon/evening especially with a group of friends. The early bird rate is P1,750 and includes P700 credit (for buying or tasting the wines), pica-pica, souvenirs and a wine guide for all the featured wines. We had a 4 hour lunch in Black Olive @blackoliveph with 2 of my best friends in high school – Tinette Lanuza Dela Vega and Eds Genuino @manayesg. I went early to decorate to surprise the 2 birthday girls. And the reason I’m mentioning this is because we were pleasantly surprised when a friend of Eds @manayesg who was in another table paid for our bill! We think it’s because of the decor 🙂 that they knew we were celebrating Eds’ bday or maybe not and they just truly wanted to treat Eds. What a nice gesture. But starting now I will always decorate so maybe someone from another table will pay for our bill again haha!! A nice lunch with sangria and lots of bar chow at Black Olive ?I like going to bars for lunch and eating the food in peace since I’m not really a drinker. So I can officially say I like going to bars ! 🙂 Congrats Tye Corcuera @tyetanium1 who also part owns Wolfgang Steakhouse. So happy to finally try Nomads @nomadsbbqrefuge. My cousin Ana told me about it and I promised I would stop by to try it. They have outdoor seating and indoor. Congratulations to my cousin Joey Vargas. They just opened last June. Come on over to try Taiwanese street food and Mongolian BBQ from 7-10pm #nomadsbbqrefuge
They have All you can eat Mongolian BBQ or you can order by the bowl. Its open only for dinner so we were not able to try it yet. We will be back
Nomad’s is very popular mostly at night for the Mongolian BBQ dinner and for the bar
Regretting not eating enough street food while in Taipei but found a place where I can have Taiwanese fried chicken and I’m so happy I’m sitting peacefully in a table.
